As an ESL teacher I sometimes found “prep slang” slinking into my teaching vocabulary. My students loved hearing the words and my friends liked remembering the phrases from our past. The Preppy Dictionary was born out of this continuing enthusiasm and it has seemed like an ageless, boundary-less hobby – 20 year olds laugh as hard as 90 year olds, and foreigners are very amused.
“The Words That Spring To Our Lips”section is where the words and phrases are found, and it has only one rule: None of these may have ever been seen in print.
